Bled - basic info
Bled is a town in northwestern Slovenia within the Julian Alps and very well known for its beautiful lake with a small island. With immense natural beauty, Bled, together with its surroundings, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts, making it a perfect place for our conference.

How to get here:
By plane:
The nearest airport is Letališče Jožeta Pučnika (cca. 35 km from Bled). From here you can take the bus or shuttle to Bled (the price ascends in that order too; we recommend a shuttle that can be booked ahead and will cost you about 15 EUR - see e.g.: http://www.zup-prevozi.eu/en/bled.html, but there are many other choices that you can find online or on the airport webpage). By train:
The nearest train station is Bled Lake (Bled - Jezero), which is about 2 km from the center of Bled. You can get here from Ljubljana or from Villach (AT). Link to Slovene Railroads for information and timetables.

By bus:
You can take a bus from Ljubljana or Kranj. Link to Ljubljana bus station for timetables.

By car:
Leave the A2/E61 highway at exit Lesce - Bled.
